TALLER DE INGLÉS PARA LA CONVERSACIÓN: ENGLISH ON THE SPOT

The English for Conversation Workshop: English on the Spot (EOS) emerges as a replacement for the previous English for Conversation Workshop (INCO) and was designed to strengthen the communicative competence in English of 7th, 8th, and 9th-grade students.

English on the Spot adopts a competency-based approach, aligned with the objectives of the Costa Rican educational system. It is based on the Action-Oriented Approach, promoting the integrated use of language skills.

English on the Spot aims to reinforce the Third Cycle English curriculum. To achieve this, academic English teachers will focus on developing listening and reading comprehension goals, structures, and vocabulary, while English on the Spot teachers will develop the spoken production and spoken interaction goals, written production goals, structures and vocabulary, phonology, and the literary project.

Two tutorials are provided with guidelines and key elements of the English on the Spot program, along with the following document issued by the regional and national advisories.
