Greetings.
In order to support the organization and pedagogical mediation of the 2026 Institutional English Festival, the following summary of relevant aspects contained in the 2026 English Festival Manual and Circular DVM-AC-DDC-0929-2026 is shared.
The purpose of the English Festival is to provide the student community with spaces to promote the use of the English language, as well as an opportunity for learning and enjoyment of it, through activities where students can demonstrate the achievements reached in their learning processes.
The festival will be implemented solely at the institutional level (educational center), which is non-competitive but formative in nature. Student participation is voluntary according to their talents.
The English festival is a celebration that helps to promote the use and understanding of the English language among students. Through different activities such as dialogues, speeches, role plays, songs, readings, spelling bee contests, display of students´ work and many more, the students show their language skills and share their joy for the language.
The English festival will only be implemented at the institutional level (school level), which is not competitive but rather formative. Student participation is voluntary according to their talents and abilities.
